Tokyo Electron Announces a New Corporate Image TV Commercial Entitled “It’s time, Tokyo Electron.” to be Launched on September 20, 2024

Tokyo Electron (TEL; Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Toshiki Kawai) will launch a new TV commercial entitled “It’s time, Tokyo Electron.” to be broadcast in Japan starting on Friday, September 20, 2024.

The commercial will also be available in digital format on YouTube, TVer, and other platforms, and will be followed by a successive transit advertising campaign mainly in the Tokyo and Osaka areas.

Tokyo Electron is helping to make semiconductors not only larger in capacity, faster and more reliable, but also less power-consuming. We are also improving the environmental performance of our semiconductor production equipment and reducing CO2 emissions throughout our operations, because we see it as our mission to continue to reduce the burden on the global environment.

The new TV commercial exemplifies our corporate commitment to “contribute to technological innovation in semiconductors and realize a sustainable, decarbonized society.” In an innovative and exciting visual sequence, the ad depicts a future made possible by TEL’s technology. Global environmental issues are illustrated with striking visuals and numerical data, complemented with images and data showing the global reach of TEL’s efforts to address these issues.
