Tokyo Electron Receives 2021 Excellent Performance Award from TSMC

Tokyo Electron (TEL) received the Excellent Performance Award from TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., Ltd. ; headquartered in Taiwan), an honor conferred on companies that significantly contributed to TSMC’s business in 2021. The award recognizes select suppliers that have exhibited outstanding performance in such fields as semiconductor production equipment, raw materials, packaging, testing, facilities, IT systems, and environmental and waste management services.

TEL received the award in the category of Excellent Technology Collaboration. The company drew on its expansive product lineup to maintain the supply of advanced multiprocessing technology solutions despite the COVID-19 crisis, which contributed to the growth of TSMC and led to this recognition.
