Tokyo Electron Receives Excellent Performance Award from TSMC

Tokyo Electron (TEL) received the Excellent Performance Award for Excellent Production Support from Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (TSMC; headquartered in Taiwan) on December 3, 2020. The award recognizes select suppliers that significantly contributed to TSMC’s business in 2020 through outstanding performance in such fields as services, equipment, and materials.

Despite overseas travel restrictions caused by the COVID-19, TEL managed to maintain close coordination between the local TEL subsidiaries and plants, not only successfully completing the delivery and installation of equipment but also continually providing quality technical support until the production line was ramped up. In recognition of these contributions, TEL was chosen to be a recipient of the award.
