Tokyo Electron Chosen for the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI)

Tokyo Electron (TEL) announced today that it was selected for inclusion in the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI). GEI tracks the performance of public companies committed to disclosing their efforts in supporting gender equality through policy development, representation, and transparency.

In 2023, GEI includes 484 companies headquartered in 45 countries and regions, and TEL’s initiatives, such as gender-based compensation review, D&I and sponsorships of　STEM education programs for women, have been highly evaluated.

TEL will continue to promote sustainability-focused management and pursue its corporate philosophy which states that "We strive to contribute to the development of a dream-inspiring society through our leading-edge technologies and reliable service and support”.
