Tokyo Electron Europe's (TEE) Crawley office held its annual charity event, the MacMillan Coffee Morning, during the final week of September and raised a significant amount in donations.
MacMillan Coffee Morning is the name commonly used for the United Kingdom’s largest fundraising event organized by Macmillan Cancer Support, a U.K.-based cancer support charity.
Employees donate to the event, and the company makes an additional donation on top of the total amount.
During the event, employees offered homemade cakes and cookies to encourage donations. In addition to fundraising, the event also served as an opportunity for people to exchange ideas.
Through this activity, participants were pleased to be able to support people affected by cancer while also strengthening communication among colleagues.
The TEE Crawley Office will continue to support the activities of Macmillan Cancer Support.
