  • Co-creation with communities

On June 28 and July 12, 2025, Tokyo Electron Taiwan (TET) collaborated with the charitable organization 1919 Food Bank to collect food at its Hsinchu and Tainan offices, and volunteered to pack the collected food into boxes (food boxes).

This year, in addition to generous donations and volunteer participation from TET employees, 11 partner companies supported and participated in the activities.
On June 28, 72 packing volunteers assembled boxes and packed food at the Hsinchu office, and on July 12, 89 volunteers carried out the same activity at the Tainan office.

Additionally, due to the impact of Typhoon No. 6 (Danas), which made landfall on July 6, severe damage occurred to essential infrastructure such as water, electricity, and communication in southern Taiwan. As a result, recovery took time, and many households were in need of support.
Therefore, Food donated by employees, their families, and partner companies was packed into food boxes and delivered to those affected by the typhoon. TET hopes these efforts will dispel the anxiety of the victims and bring them comfort.

In the seven years since the start of these activities in 2019, TET has donated more than 7,700 boxes of food, equivalent to a total value of 20 million yen. This year, in just two weeks, about 2,300 boxes were collected, setting a new record.
The food box event is one of TET’s representative social contribution activities, and its impact has been steadily expanding.

TET will continue its efforts to provide heartwarming topics to the local community and to contribute to regional development.
