Tokyo Electron Kyushu has been implementing a matching gift program since 2009 by matching donations from the employees and augmenting it with proceeds from employee benefit facilities to be used as donations from the company.
A popular item in the employee cafeteria is selected as a “matching gift menu,” and 10 yen from the price is collected as a donation, and the company contributes the same amount.
Starting in 2014, part of the proceeds from vending machines at the company was added to this program, so that assistance can be given to a larger number of local welfare organizations.
The matching gifts for FY2024, which were given for the 15th time, totaled 7.5 million yen to nine local organizations and we visited the social welfare councils in the vicinity and handed over the donation certificates.
FY2024 Matching Gift Recipients
・Five social welfare councils in the vicinity of the office (2.5 million yen)
・Telephone consultation volunteer group for suicide prevention (500,000 yen)
・Kumamoto Disaster Volunteer Group (500,000 yen)

In the fiscal year, we donated 2.5 million yen to a local children’s cafeteria as part of an in-house event to support local communities.
From FY2025, we will continue our community-based activities such as by further increasing the company’s amount of contribution and using it to increase donations to existing recipients and expanding the number of new recipients.
