Tokyo Electron Taiwan (TET) has been involved in environmental social contribution activities for several years. On May 17, 2025, employees and their families of TET and its business partners (approximately 60 people) held a cleanup activity at the Xinfeng Mangrove Nature Reserve.
Unlike a simple beach cleanup, the activity included a special guided tour program so that the employees and their families can deepen their understanding of the local history and the natural environment.
Participants learned about the history of Xinfeng and the ecosystem of mangroves while they cleaned the nature reserve. Large amounts of litter had washed up on the wetlands, and everyone carefully collected garbage such as plastic bottles, cigarette butts, and polystyrene foam. Children enjoyed participating in the activity with their parents while learning how to distinguish whether the waste they collected was recyclable.
TET will continue promoting environmental protection efforts to maintain the beauty of marine environments by raising awareness about the importance of environmental protection among not only participants, but also the wider public.
