On Sunday, January 28, employees of Tokyo Electron Europe’s (TEE) Catania office participated in a street cleanup in the neighborhood of the office, which was organized in cooperation with Legambiente (a local non-profit environmental association).
Legambiente is one of the most prominent and widespread non-profit environmental association in Italy since 1980. After a brief introduction and speech from the association about their activities, we spent a few hours on Sunday morning cleaning the street around our office.
It was also a good occasion for raising awareness about environmental issues and of course a chance for team building.
