This lunar new year, Tokyo Electron Singapore (TSI) visited the inpatients at Assisi Hospice as part of our TEL FOR GOOD activity.
This time, TSI sponsored a trolley filled with lots of mouthwatering foods and a variety of Lunar New Year snacks for the patients to select from.
The foods included famous local delights like Hor Fun, Nasi Biryani, Kong Bak Bao, etc., which were specially bought from popular stalls around Singapore.
Prior to our visit, Assisi Hospice shared with us that patients in the wards were really looking forward to this activity as it brings back nostalgic memories of when they were in better health and able to indulge in their favorite foods.
The air was filled with delicious yet familiar aromas of good food as our vol¬unteers wheeled the festive trolley from ward to ward, delivering food to each pa¬tient. It was truly a very meaningful and enjoyable Lunar New Year for both the patients and our volunteers.
