The QRS Center* Wellness Team of Tokyo Electron America (TEA) completed 2023 with a site-wide food competition to collect donations for local food pantries.
This year’s event, taking place from December 5 to December 21 and referred to as the ‘Festivus Food Fight,’ was wildly competitive, with over 45 employees generously donating 1,962 lbs. worth of food - enough to fill 20 full boxes.

This food was split between three deserving organizations in the local community, each chosen to address different needs in the community. These organizations included the HUMC (Hillsboro United Methodist Church) Community Trading Post and Saving Grace Maternity Home.

A core belief in the TEL FOR GOOD program is the importance of contributing to the vitality and health of communities in which we work and live. Through events like this food competition, TEL employees are empowered and encouraged to create a lasting impact on their communities.
