A group of employees from Tokyo Electron America (TEA) Portland Office made the trip to Salem, Oregon to volunteer for the Girl Scouts of Oregon & SW Washington STEM Day.
There were multiple booths which ranged from the FBI to the Oregon State University of Forestry, to SWE (Society of Women Engineers), and the Oregon Coast Aquarium.
All booths hosted interactive workshops, hands-on activities, and informative sessions that captivated the curiosity of the attendees.
At the TEA booth, attendees were instructed to guess the number of dies on the wafer to be entered into a raffle to win an electrical circuit kit. The kit had the ability to make a fan, an FM Radio, doorbell, and lamp.
This year’s event witnessed an incredible turnout, with 1,355 attendees, marking a substantial increase from the 386 participants in 2022.
All volunteers had positive feedback from the experience.
