The 48th National High School Cultural Festival, also known as the "Inter-High of Cultural Clubs," was held in Gifu Prefecture from July 31 to August 5.
This event is a large-scale gathering, with approximately 3,000 participating schools, around 20,000 high school students representing their prefectures, and an estimated 100,000 spectators, including local residents of the host prefecture.
Tokyo Electron (TEL) supports the development of high school students' independence in research activities and has been sponsoring the Natural Sciences Category since the 38th festival in 2014 as part of its commitment to “Technology and Innovation," a key focus area of TEL FOR GOOD.
In the Natural Sciences Category, students who passed the document screening presented their independent research findings in the fields of physics, chemistry, biology, and earth science.
