To make aware of World Environment Day in June, a team from Tokyo Electron Europe (Crawley), under the guidance of the Sussex Wildlife Trust, contributed to a day working at Crawter’s Brook in the industrial estate near their office.
The task involved removing invasive Himalayan Balsam, as well as cutting back the brambles so people can walk safely around the park without being scratched by thorns.
All the team enjoyed the volunteering and teambuilding away from their desks and also learned the importance of conservation and care for a sustainable community.
