Announcement on Merger between Consolidated Subsidiaries

Tokyo Electron BP Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Tokyo Electron Ltd., has conducted an absorption-type merger of Tokyo Electron Agency Ltd. (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tokyo Electron BP Ltd. that specializes in conducting insurance agency business) from the perspective of improving operational efficiency and utilizing human resources with the effective date of April 1, 2023.
