Announcing the Completion of the New Development Building

Tokyo Electron (TEL) in Miyagi, Japan held a ceremony today celebrating the completed construction of its new development building (Development Building No.2) within the company’s factory premises in Taiwa-cho, Kurokawa-gun, Miyagi prefecture.

TEL in Miyagi manufactures etch systems, the market for which is expected to grow substantially in the coming years. With the completion of Development Building No.2, the company is poised to strengthen its abilities to develop technologies for producing equipment and providing service that meets the expectation of the market and customers, enabling further market share expansion and successful implementation of the Medium-Term Management Plan.
