Tokyo Electron Additionally Donates to support 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake Relief Efforts
We extend our heartfelt condolences to everyone affected by the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake.
Tokyo Electron (TEL; Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Toshiki Kawai) will provide additional funding to support relief, recovery and reconstruction efforts in areas affected by the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake. TEL has decided to donate 30 million yen to the Japan Association for Supporting Refugees (AAR Japan) to help support relief and recovery efforts, and provide the following relief supplies to people in the affected areas.
Relief supplies: Equipment and furnishings for designated self-evacuation centers and welfare evacuation centers, emergency food supplies, water, portable toilets, hygiene products, cooling-related items , and installation of temporary showers, etc.
Reconstruction support: To facilitate the early reopening of welfare facilities by supporting facility repairs and providing equipment and supplies, etc.
We sincerely hope for the earliest possible recovery from the disaster.
