Tokyo Electron Technology Solutions Tohoku Office Achieves Platinum Status in RBA VAP
The Tohoku Office (Iwate Prefecture) of Tokyo Electron Technology Solutions achieved platinum status, the highest level of recognition, in the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA)* Validated Assessment Program (VAP).
The VAP audit, conducted by RBA-approved third-party auditors, evaluates how well a company complies with the RBA Code of Conduct in its business operations. Participants are awarded status recognition based on their scores (a minimum of 160 is required).
Following in the footsteps of the Fujii Head Office and Hosaka Office of Tokyo Electron Technology Solutions, which received the same recognition earlier this year, the Tohoku Office has achieved platinum status with the perfect score of 200, reflecting its operational and management excellence in the categories of Labor, Health and Safety, Environment, Ethics, and Management System.
Tokyo Electron Group remains committed to advancing sustainability-focused management practices, in alignment with its Corporate Philosophy: "We strive to contribute to the development of a dream-inspiring society through our leading-edge technologies and reliable service and support."
*Responsible Business Alliance (RBA): The RBA is the world’s largest coalition of electronics and other industries dedicated to responsible and sustainable business practices in global supply chains. Tokyo Electron became a member of the RBA in 2015, and since then we have been working with our suppliers to fully comply with the RBA Code of Conduct.
