Tokyo Electron Endorses Recommendations from the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) | News Room

Tokyo Electron (TEL) has announced its support for recommendations from the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD*).

As a supporter of TCFD's recommendations, we will strive to contribute to the establishment of a sustainable society by analyzing the impact and opportunities that climate change poses to our businesses, responding accordingly, and disclosing pertinent information.

*About the Task Force on Climinate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD)
The TCFD was established by the Financial Stability Board (FSB) in 2015.

In June 2017, the TCFD published recommendations on voluntary disclosure best practices in its final report with the aim of promoting assessment and disclosure of the financial impact of risks and opportunities engendered by climate change.
