Announcement on Organization Changes and Personnel Changes
Tokyo Electron (TEL) announces the following changes in organization and personnel.
1. Establish Technology Officer
Amid a rapidly changing technology environment, we establish Technology Officer position at each factory, assuming top responsibility in technology and reporting to factory president, in order to continuously create strong next-generation products. Technology Officer is responsible for continuously creating next-generation products which outperform our competitors’, generating technology innovation, strengthening collaborations across organizations, and further cultivating customer relationships and trust.

7. Partial Changes in Organization effective on July 1st, 2023
As our society becomes more digitalized and our organizations become growing/expanding, IT strategy is imperative to pursue Medium-term Management Plan. We reorganize IT unit organizations to strengthen IT strategy and its execution as well as promote DX in business platform. Also, we re-name organizations within Business Innovation Project (BIP) as per their missions; BIP Promotion 1st Department to Business Process Reengineering Department and BIP Promotion 2nd Department to Data Infrastructure Construction Department respectively.
