Tokyo Electron (TEL) announces the following changes in the organization and personnel changes.
1．Changes in Organization Effective on September 1st, 2021
As the market environment surrounding TEL grows and changes rapidly, quick response to various issues related to the entire development and production group is required. In order to strengthen each system of safety, quality, procurement, environment, etc and promote policy decisions on issues and cooperation between plants within the Development & Production Group, the EHS, Quality, Procurement, Production Technology will be designated as the Corporate Production Division (General Manager: Sadao Sasaki, Deputy General Manager: Hiroki Fukushima).

6. Partial Changes in Organization of Dept. Effective on September 1st, 2021
(1) Under CTSPS BU, Clean Track Sales Dept. and Surface Preparation System Sales Dept. will be renamed as CTSPS Sales 1st Dept. (Tetsuya Nishiara) and CTSPS Sales 2nd Dept. (Kimiya Miura).
(2) Platform Development Dept. (Shinji Wakabayashi) under the Development & Production 1st Division, will be transferred under the Corporate Production Division and in order to promote the construction of the core system iEE*, the Integrated Technology Promotion Center (Sensyo Kobayashi) will be newly established.
*iEE：integrated Engineering Environment (Core engineering environment system）
(3) We will review the roles of each department and rename the Quality Promotion Center to the Safety & Quality Promotion Center (Hiroyuki Sugio) and the EHS Promotion Center to the Environment Promotion Center
(Masahiro Kawai).
