Tokyo Electron Recognized as "Most Honored Company" by Institutional Investor in the 2020 All-Japan Executive Team Rankings

Tokyo Electron (TEL) announced today the company's recognition as the "Most Honored Company" in the Electronics/Precision Instruments sector, in the 2020 All-Japan Executive Team Rankings, released by Institutional Investor, a prominent U.S. financial magazine.

The rankings identify and honor superior IR activities of the listed Japanese companies, based on the votes of institutional investors and analysts from around the world. TEL obtained four awards in three out of four categories, “Best CEO” ranked 2nd, "Best IR Professional" ranked 1st and 3rd, and "Best IR Company” ranked 1st. In consequence, TEL was selected as the "Most Honored Company" within the Electronics/Precision Instruments sector for the fifth consecutive year.

TEL will continue to maintain sustainable growth and uphold medium to long term increases in its corporate value, and will also disclose IR information in a fair, impartial and timely manner.
