Tokyo Electron Recognized as "Most Honored Company" by Institutional Investor in the 2018 All-Japan Executive Team Rankings

Tokyo Electron (TEL) announced today the company's recognition as the "Most Honored Company" in the Electronics/Precision Instruments sector, in the 2018 All-Japan Executive Team Rankings, released on May 16 by Institutional Investor, a prominent U.S. financial magazine.

The rankings identify and honor superior IR activities of the listed Japanese companies, based on the votes of institutional investors and analysts from around the world. Due to its prominence in two out of four categories, "Best IR Companies" and "Best IR Professionals", TEL was selected as the "Most Honored Company" within the Electronics/Precision Instruments sector for the third consecutive year.

TEL also ranked first in the "Best Analyst Days" section, second in the "Best Corporate Governance" section, and came in third in the "Best ESG/SRI Metrics".

TEL will continue to maintain sustainable growth and upholding medium to long term increases in its corporate value, in addition to disclose IR information in a fair, impartial and timely manner.
