Announcement on Organization Changes and Personnel Changes
Tokyo Electron (TEL) announces the following partial changes in the organization and personnel changes.
1. Partial Changes in Organization Effective on October 1st, 2017
(1) Akihisa Sekiguchi Deputy GM will be newly assigned as the role of assisting Technology Strategy Division GM (Gishi Chung). Technology Strategy Division will be divided into two divisions, Advanced Semiconductor Technology Division and IT Strategy Division. In addition, Development Management Dept. will be newly established by divided from Strategic Technology Development Dept.
(2) System Development Division (Kazushi Tahara) will be newly established under Development & Production 1st Division (Sadao Sasaki), and System Development Center will be divided into Equipment Development Dept., AI Development Dept., System Development Dept., and Platform Development Dept., will be newly established.
