TEL Announces Organizational and Personnel Changes
The following changes in the company organization and personnel will become effective on August 1st and October 1st, 2010.
1. Organizational Changes (Effective on August 1, 2010)
SPE Sales Division
1.The management structure of The SPE Sales Division (General Manager: Chiaki Yamaguchi, SVP) will be changed. The Senior General Manager, SPE Sales Division will be Hikaru Ito, EVP. The General Manager, SPE Sales Division will be Chiaki Yamaguchi, SVP.
2.The Taiwan Sales Division (General Manager: Masaaki Hata, VP) and the Asia & China Sales Division (General Manager: Shunro Nagasawa) will be merged to the Taiwan & Asia Sales Division (General Manager: Masaaki Hata, VP).
FPD Division
1.The FPD Sales Division (General Manager: Shinichi Sasahara, VP) will be newly established.
2.The PV Project Dept.(VP: Shinichi Sasahara) will be split off from the FPDBU and established under the FPD Division directly.
2. Organizational Changes (Effective on October 1, 2010)
1.The Test Systems Project (PJ Leader: Yuichi Abe) will be renamed the Test Systems Division (General Manager: Yuichi Abe) The Test Systems Dept. will be newly established under The Test Systems Division.
2.MEMS Project (PJ Leader: Yoshinori Inoue) will be divided between the MEMS Development Dept. and the Contactor Development Dept. The MEMS Development Dept. will be established under the Marketing Division (General Manager: Akihisa Sekiguchi). The Contactor Development Dept. will be established under the Test Systems Division.
3.The New Product Development Division (General Manager: Yoichi Ishikawa) will be newly established. The Tester Development Dept. and the New Product Promotion Dept. will be established under the New Product Development Division.
4.The Epion Project (PJ Leader: Yoichi Ishikawa) will be abolished and transferred to the New Product Promotion Dept.
5.The 3DI Project (PJ Leader: Yoshinobu Mitano) will be renamed the 3DI Division (General Manager: Yoshinobu Mitano).
6.The Sales Planning and Administration Dept. will be newly established under the SPE Sales Division.
