Report on the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake (2nd report)

We would like to express our heartfelt sympathy to all those affected by the earthquake that struck the Kumamoto region of Kumamoto Prefecture. We sincerely hope for a swift recovery of the affected areas.

The current state of TEL Group operations in the affected areas is as follows:

We have confirmed that all of the TEL Group employees working at the Tokyo Electron Kyushu Head Office in Koshi and the Ozu Plant are safe.
We conducted safety inspections at both facilities and found no significant damage to the buildings or facilities.
We are working towards resuming full-scale production and development operations at the plant by the start of next week, with a priority on safety.

Accordingly, we expect the impact on our business performance to be insignificant.
