Response to the earthquake in Kumamoto, Japan(3rd report)
Tokyo Electron Limited (TEL) set up the Earthquake Emergency Response Headquarters immediately after the earthquake occurred last evening, and has been responding to the disaster through information gathering and other activities.
As of noon on April 15, the situation of the TEL group sites in Kumamoto is as follows:
The Koshi Plant and the Ozu Plant sustained no major damage to their buildings and facilities. Their lifeline utilities including gas, water, electricity, and IT networks are fully functional, and both plants are now operating.
