Response to the earthquake in Kumamoto, Japan(2nd report)
In response to the disaster, Tokyo Electron Limited (TEL) established the Earthquake Emergency Response Headquarters at 21:50 yesterday (JST).
As of 10:00 a.m. on April 15, the situation of the TEL group sites in Kumamoto is as follows:
The Koshi Plant and the Ozu Plant sustained no major damage to their buildings and facilities. Operations are currently suspended at both plants, as they place their highest priority on safety.
We will make further announcements as additional information becomes available.
TEL will continue to make every effort to grasp the situation in full and effect a rapid restoration.
