Notice of Partial Revision of Tokyo Electron Corporate Governance Guidelines

Tokyo Electron (TEL) announces that Tokyo Electron Corporate Governance Guidelines (hereinafter, Guidelines) have been revised.

The details are as follows:

1. Revision of the Guidelines
In order to become a truly global company that realizes sustainable growth, TEL strives to strengthen its management and technology base to establish a global level of profitability. Furthermore, TEL believes that it is important to build a governance structure to achieve this. The Guidelines provide a governance framework that will contribute to the achievement of this aspiration.
Based on the revised purpose of the "Corporate Governance Code" revised in June 2018, TEL reviewed the policy on its approach at the Board of Directors and revised the Guidelines.

2. Disclosure of the Guidelines
The Guidelines have been posted on TEL’s website as follows:
