Postponement of the financial forecast announcement for the fiscal year ending March 2017

In order to make in-depth business impact assessments of the Kumamoto earthquake that has been affecting the area since April 14, Tokyo Electron Limited (TEL) is postponing the release of its consolidated financial forecasts for the fiscal year ending March 2017, which was originally scheduled to be included in the April 26 announcement of financial results for the fiscal year ended March 2016. The consolidated financial forecasts are to be announced on May 12 instead.
