Announcement on Salary Reduction of Corporate Directors of Tokyo Electron

Tokyo Electron Limited announced the withdrawal from Photovoltaic Panel Production Equipment (PVE) Business on January 30, 2014. In light of the business impact from a lot of losses caused by PVE Business, the Board of Directors has resolved to conduct salary reduction of Corporate Directors of Tokyo Electron Ltd. as follows on February 28, 2014.


1. Outline of the Reduction
Reduction by 30% of the monthly salary for four Corporate Directors of Tokyo Electron Ltd. including two Representative Directors

2. Duration of the Reduction
For six months from March 2014
