Tokyo Electron Completes Acquisition of Magnetic Solutions

Tokyo Electron Ltd. (TEL) announced today that it had completed all procedures in the acquisition of Magnetic Solutions Ltd. (MSL) on December 3 (Ireland time), an acquisition previously announced on November 2, 2012. Therefore, Tokyo Electron Europe Ltd., subsidiary of TEL, owns 100% of MSL. And, MSL has changed its name to TEL Magnetic Solutions Ltd.
The impact of this acquisition on TEL’s consolidated financial results is expected to be a minor one.
