Tokyo Electron Brings Forward its Net Zero Achievement Target by 10 Years to 2040

Tokyo Electron (TEL; Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Toshiki Kawai) announced that its Net Zero* achievement target would be brought forward by 10 years to 2040, instead of 2050 as originally planned.
Responding to climate change is recognized as an extremely pressing issue by the global community. Under our new Net Zero target, TEL will more assertively implement diverse measures to conserve the global environment, taking the lead in Net Zero practices as a truly excellent global company.

Net Zero

TEL is now targeting to reduce all its greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2040, including Scope 1 and 2 emissions (i.e., emissions by TEL) and Scope 3 emissions (i.e., those by its supply chain).
