Announcement on Organization Changes and Personnel Changes
Tokyo Electron Limited (TEL) determined and announced, on May 13 2015, the proposed candidates for the corporate directors and Audit & Supervisory Board member regarding the 52nd annual general meeting of shareholders held on June 19 2015. Today, TEL announced that the operating structure concerning corporate directors and the personnel plans of executive officers after June 19 2015 were informally determined as stated below. The official resolutions will be made at the Board of Directors’ meeting held after the 52nd annual general meeting of shareholders.
1. New Operating Structure (as of June 19, 2015)
(1) Chief Operating Officer (COO) shall be newly appointed under the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in order to enhance the operating structure.
(2) The personnel plans of corporate directors and executive officers after June 19 2015

i. Planning of Region Strategy Division, US Region Division, Europe Region Division, Japan Region Division, Korea Region Division, Taiwan Region Division, China Region Division, Southeast Asia Region Division shall be organized under Global Field Division (Hikaru Ito, EVP & General Manager and Kenji Washino, SVP & Deputy General Manager)
ii. SPE Development Division and Business Unit Division shall be organized under Business Promotion Division (Toshiki Kawai, Senior Executive Vice President & COO, General Manager)
iii. Corporate Development Division, System Development Division, IT Division, Production Division shall be organized under Development & Manufacturing Division (Hirofumi Kitayama, Senior Executive Vice President, General Manager and Masami Akimoto, SVP & Deputy General Manager and Sadao Sasaki, SVP & Deputy General Manager).
iv. Accounting Dept., Finance Dept., Intellectual Property Dept., Legal Dept., Export & Logistics Control Dept. shall be organized under Finance & Legal Division (Tetsuro Hori, SVP & General Manager)
