Tokyo Electron Joins Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC)

Tokyo Electron Limited (TEL) today announced that it became an applicant member of the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC), an electronic industry coalition dedicated to the fulfillment of corporate social responsibility (CSR), in June 2015.
As an EICC applicant member, TEL will commit to conform with the EICC code of conduct in our own operations with a continuous improvement approach, aiming to pursue socially responsible business practices in keeping with global standards and to advocate CSR throughout the industry.

"In this spirit, we have respected the expectations of our stakeholders, and made company-wide efforts to engage in CSR activities. Going forward, we intend to fully leverage EICC's insights and resources and to progressively apply the EICC code of conduct to first-tier suppliers, where applicable, and monitor its application, to augment our CSR practices while further contributing to society and to our industry as a whole."
