Tokyo, JAPAN- July 16, 2007 - TEL has announced the formation of a new Post Sales Division based out of Fuchu, Japan, and the opening of a factory dedicated to post sales efforts (TEL PS) that is a part of the Sagami, Japan facility. Mr. Jin Sakamoto has been appointed president of the Post Sales Division.

Tokyo Electron’s primary focus for post sales support is on technology solutions, including modifications, business development, used equipment, and customer support, covering spares, training and service support. In order to meet evolving customer requirements, the company established the Post Sales Division as a solution for extending the life of TEL’s semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

Additionally, TEL is engaged in addressing a variety of needs in the low-end device technology market, which include applications for 150mm and 200mm fabs producing microcomputers, memory, logic, discrete IC’s, power MOSFET, power diodes and other discretes for the automotive market.
