Montopolis Neighborhood Center Mural

An important mural by noted Austin artist Fidencio Duran was unveiled at the Montopolis Neighborhood Center on Tuesday, July 22, 2003. The mural, entitled Montopolis, U.S.A., depicts the history of the Montopolis community and the activities and services of the present-day neighborhood center. Set on a hilltop overlooking the surrounding farmland and river, the community gathers together in harmony and cooperation, enjoying the activities of the Neighborhood Center.
